The architectural paintings I have done to date are mainly locations in the historic district of downtown Gainesville–The Thomas Center and Gardens and The McKenzie House. I love the architecture of days gone by and the beautiful gardens that often surround them. As in my landscape paintings, I like to capture the images in the early morning or late afternoon light when the sun casts long shadows on the ground and structures themselves.
